North Kazakhstan Region to build dairy complexes using digital technologies

The North Kazakhstan Region is planning to implement seven projects on construction of dairy complexes using digital technologies, Kazakh media reported citing First Deputy Head of the Administration of the North Kazakhstan Region Aidarbek Saparov.

At a meeting with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture Umirzak Shukeyev, Saparov noted that fully operational facilities will additionally provide over 14,500 tons of milk.

“Five fattening grounds will be created for more than 1,000 cows each. The idle pig farm of EMC-Agro LLP for 50,000 heads in Taiynsha district will resume its work. Work is underway to build a poultry meat factory in the Musrepov district for 5,000 tons of product,” Saparov said.

He added that implementation of all projects will create more than 500 jobs for the villagers.

In January-April 2018, the gross output in the livestock sector valued 33.8 billion tenge. Production of meat and milk increased, with the production of eggs growing by over 22 percent.
