CINCINNATI (WXIX) -The annual Asian Food Fest will start this Saturday, with over 50 restaurants participating in the event.

The two-day event is held on Court Street from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

“Asian culture is huge. I mean, think about China, Japan, Korea, India, South East Asia, and it’s just, it’s just massive, and I just think there’s so much to explore and dive into and see what you like and try it and keep exploring,” Eric Sun with Fortune Noodle House said.

Saturday is the first day of the two-day event celebrating Asian food and culture.

“I think it’s important to have a weekend dedicated just to this because Asian food and Asian culture is just so expansive and so rich,” Sun explained.

The organizers have stated that this year’s festival is the biggest one so far.

Out of the 55 participating restaurants, eight offer a secret menu with more authentic dishes, a common practice in Asian cuisine.

“I think we’re so lucky to live in a country where there’s so many cultures that you can experience, and something like the Asian food festival just gives everyone an opportunity to experience all that stuff all in one place,” Dhara Patel with the Asian Food Festival said.
