The Fort Collins-based Blue Ocean Foundation recently granted the Colorado Enterprise Fund $50,000 to help provide loan capital and coaching services for small businesses.
According to a press release, the grant will support Enterprise Fund-administered community microloan programs in Loveland, Weld County, Longmont, and Innosphere, along with lending activity in Fort Collins.
Blue Ocean Foundation is the charitable arm of Blue Ocean Enterprises, a venture of OtterBox founders Curt and Nancy Richardson.
“Investing in small-business development and entrepreneurship are the best ways to create individual and community prosperity, and we are thrilled to partner with Colorado Enterprise Fund,” Nancy Richardson said in the release.
