Sweden PPI Inflation Slows In August

Sweden's producer price inflation eased in August after accelerating in the previous month, figures from Statistics Sweden showed Tuesday.

Producer price inflation moderated to 3.8 percent in August from 5.7 percent in July. Prices have been rising since October last year.

Prices on the export and the import market grew by 3.0 percent and 3.7 percent, respectively in August from a year ago. The price index for domestic supply registered an increase of 4.3 percent.

Month-on-month, producer prices dropped 0.8 percent from July, when it rose by 0.6 percent.
