There is no doubt that the upcoming Vijay-starrer The GOAT - Greatest of All Time is one of the much-anticipated films from Tamil cinema. Scheduled to release on September 5, the film already features a star ensemble cast, including the likes of Prabhudheva, Prashanth, Sneha and others. Now, it is said that another big star from Tamil cinema will be making a cameo appearance in the film, as per reports.
Sivakarthikeyan in The GOAT?
According to recent media reports, it is suggested that actor Sivakarthikeyan will be making a guest appearance in The Goat. His role is expected to appear towards the climax of the film and we hear that Sivakarthikeyan is shooting for his portions in Chennai.
However, an official announcement on Sivakarthikeyan's involvement in the film has not been made. If the news is indeed true, it will mark Sivakarthikeyan's first onscreen collaboration with Vijay and Venkat Prabhu who is directing the film. Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan will be next seen in Amaran and is shooting for his film with AR Murugadoss.
It is also to be noted that Trisha is also expected to make a cameo appearance in the film, and going by this, we can expect more surprises in the film. The GOAT is Vijay’s 68th film as the lead actor and is backed by AGS Entertainment.

The makers recently released the first single from the film, titled Whistle Podu. Sung by Vijay himself, the music for the film is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The makers have been tight-lipped about The GOAT, which is said to be an action-based sci-fi flick. As the actor hinted at taking up a full-time political journey, The GOAT is expected to bring scores of the actor's fans to theatres. He is expected to be seen in two avatars in the movie — a young man and an older one. Actors Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Ajmal Ameer, among others, are part of the cast.
